Beiersdorf, the maker of NIVEA, Eucerin, Aquaphor and Coppertone, is deeply committed to helping care for those on the front lines who are selflessly caring for us all during this unprecedented challenge. In the US, we have converted our facility in Tennessee to produce 500,000 units of medical-grade sanitizer to provide to the medical community and to non-profit organizations servicing those most in need in our local communities, and across the US and Canada.
We are also donating 200,000 units of Eucerin, Aquaphor and NIVEA skin care products to those on the front lines, including doctors, nurses and hospital workers, whose skin needs relief due to chafing and excessive dryness due to hand washing. These efforts supplement our global initiatives to provide supplies, funds and resources where they are needed around the world.
Beiersdorf has committed 50 million Euro to aid crisis relief which includes a donation of 1,000,000 liters of sanitizer being produced at our factories across five continents, 5,000,000 NIVEA, Eucerin and Aquaphor skin and hand care products to medical personnel, as well as supporting the additional donations and initiatives of our local offices and employees. It’s our way of showing our deep gratitude and caring toward those who are working tirelessly to care for us all. We’d also like to thank our employees whose dedication, generosity and commitment to do all that they can, make this initiative possible.
